I *love* this theater. A Christmas Carol is my favorite every year — especially as my daughter is in the cast this year. Every seat is a great seat with full close views of the theater in-the-round. The front-row seats have their feet in the stage, which creates such a wonderful intimacy.
First time at the Act theater was to see the Cambodian Rock band and it was exceptional! Really enjoyed the complimentary coat check and the bar/snack stand.
We saw a Christmas Carol in the round, Allen theater. The actors had a great stage presence, were interactive, and well spoken! The production was very creative in using the round stage and different angles to their advantage for story telling.
As far as the theater location, the Allen stage was very nice, though some seats might be considered cramped due to shared leg space with other seats (first row).
The location does have a multi-sex bathroom with all individual stalls, which is great! Unfortunately, one of the doors didnt lock and I walked in on a dude pissing (I'm female) - so they should get that fixed.
It's art! What's not to love? The theater was set up "in the round" which makes the performance more intimate and personal.
Facilities are top notch, and all of the staff are friendly and helpful.
We saw A Christmas Carol, which is an awesome experience when performed in the round. Everyone should have this experience.
It is a nice venue. It felt intimate since it's much smaller than most other theaters I've been. I really liked the stadium seating. It makes it so all seats are unobstructed.
If they had better concessions I'd probably give it 5-stars, but I really hate that they make you buy a cheap plastic cup to drink in the theater.
We’ve gone here to watch a Christmas Carol and it’s an incredible show. The staff are so friendly and the acting is top notch. There isn’t a bad seat in the theater either. Highly recommend!
My favorite Seattle theatre. Experimental shows with exceptional casts. Poignant. Real issues. Educational.
Affordable tickets, including $20 rush tickets. Some pay-what-you-can programs with local community and school groups. Small theatre with great visibility.
Love their circular 360 degree stage. Every show is so unique. Wonderful community too. I will keep coming back!
My first time at this theater was to see Ride the Cyclone. I was very impressed with this venue, it isn't very large, but the set up was great. It looked like you would have a great view of the small stage from any seat. The seats were pretty comfortable as well. The entrance was right across the street from Union Square garage which is also nice. I could also tell that a lot of work went into the stage design for this show and I look forward to seeing another performance here.
I saw "Cambodian Rock Band" in the Gregory Falls theatre space. Fantastic show. I don't think there's a bad seat in that house unless you sit behind someone tall. They have a bar and plenty of ushers to get you to your seat. I take light …
Great little theatre, professional production. Beware of buying the pre-paid parking at Laz garage. The garage scanner did not recognize the pre-paid QR code issued by ACT, ended up paying twice for parking.
